Trouble with the submittal builder? Start with the common questions below — most issues are a quick fix.

I didn't get my verification or password-reset email

Check your spam or junk folder first. You can request a reset from the Sign in screen via "Forgot password?", and resend a verification email from your Account page. If it still doesn't arrive, message us below.

The "Email me a copy" option is missing or disabled

Emailing a copy is only available when you're signed in with a verified email, and it always sends to your own account address. Verify your email on the Account page — or just use the PDF download, which works for everyone.

I can't find the product I need

Use Request a Custom Submittal and our engineer will prepare it for you. You can also open that request right from the builder via the "Product not listed?" link.

How do I generate a submittal?

Add products to your cart from the tabs, drag to set their order, then click "Generate submittal PDF". The PDF downloads automatically; signed-in, verified users can also have a copy emailed.

How do I save a project for later?

Sign in, then use "Save project" in the cart panel. Reopen it anytime with "Load project" in the same place, or from your Account page.
